A well-established fire safety services provider has entered its next phase following a successful sale facilitated by Associate Director Sara Thomasson. Having developed the business over twenty years, owners Eleanor and Debbie Williams brought Tower Fire to market to facilitate their retirement.
Operating since 2005, Aberdare-based Tower Fire provides fire safety services including extinguisher supply, fire risk assessments and training. The business has built a strong reputation across South Wales and beyond, supported by a loyal client base and a high level of repeat business.
A key strength of the company is its position as a specialist distributor, including its role as the sole distributor in Wales for a leading fire extinguisher manufacturer. Alongside this, the business delivers tailored fire safety training and compliance support to organisations across a range of sectors.
The business was ultimately acquired by FireRite, founded in 1999 by Gareth Selway and based in Wales. It brings together decades of industry experience, delivering fire safety training and qualifications across the UK.
The acquisition enhances FireRite’s service offering, combining its training-led approach with Tower Fire’s established presence in fire safety equipment supply and risk assessment, while supporting its continued growth within the sector.
Following completion, Eleanor and Debbie have stepped away from the business to begin their retirement. We wish them both all the best and look forward to seeing Tower Fire continue to develop as part of FITA’s growing operations and the important work it delivers.
