Knightsbridge has completed the sale of Salto UK, a provider of printed and embroidered clothing supplying schools, businesses and sports clubs. The company is known for delivering high-quality garments at competitive prices, supported by flexible, customisable packages tailored to each client’s needs.
Operating from Northumberland, Salto trades from a combined retail shop, office and warehouse. Its strong reputation has been built on fast response times and consistently high levels of customer service, both in-store and through its e-commerce platform, driving long-term client retention.
Established in 2007 by shareholders Graeme Dance and Ruth Dance, the business was developed into a trusted regional supplier with a growing online presence. The decision to sell was taken as part of their planned retirement, with a focus on securing the right custodians for the next stage of growth.
The sale was led by Operations Manager Leanne Boulding, with the business attracting four competitive offers during the process. A successful completion was achieved within the year, reflecting sustained demand for well-run businesses in the branded clothing sector.
Salto was acquired by Caroline and Lewis Barr, who will continue to build on the company’s service-led approach while supporting future growth. Their acquisition provides continuity for customers and creates a strong platform for the business’s next chapter.
