Knightsbridge has completed the sale of D and S Restaurants Ltd, trading as Mezzo, a healthy fast-food restaurant and takeaway based in Derbyshire. Operating from Derby’s Pride Park area, the business has established a strong local presence through fresh, build-your-own food options, fast service and a well-developed digital ordering offering.
Established in 2020, Mezzo was founded and developed by David Meredith and Skevy Piponides as a modern dining concept focused on quality, convenience and healthy eating. The business was offered for sale to facilitate the owners’ retirement plans, with a clear emphasis on securing a smooth and well-managed transition.
The transaction was led by Operations Manager Sara Manville, with Regional Commercial Director Donald Peden representing the sale throughout the process. Buyer engagement remained strong, resulting in interest from 34 prospective parties, reflecting demand for a well-positioned, service-led hospitality business.
