Our client is an international provider of complete exhibition services with an extensive offering, including bespoke stand design and manufacture, project management, installation, and derigging.
JNM was established in York in 2003 and has since experienced considerable growth, building relationships with a plethora of prestigious clients, and developing an excellent reputation in its field.
Operating across a broad range of sectors, its client base includes prestigious organisations, vendors, and government bodies – such as Harper Collins, National Geographic, Fife Council, and Beatles Story.
Founder Paul Scott made the decision to sell the business to facilitate his retirement plans, hiring Knightsbridge, who deployed Deal Executive Helen Bainbridge to lead proceedings.
In what proved to be a team effort, Regional Commercial Director Neil Smith played a key representative role, with research being carried out by Megan Steele, Research Analyst.
JNM’s turnover of £1.5 million proved to be a popular value driver, as no less than 53 interested parties emerged, with meetings conducted with 7 potential buyers deemed the most serious of acquirers.
In a significant deal, exceeding the amount Paul set out as a goal to achieve, the ultimate buyer was found through a crossmatch carried out by Marketing Administrator Anastasia Soldatos.
JNM was acquired by Envision Media, a large-format printing and display company based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, that was founded in 2013 by Paul Harrison and Jonathan Berry.
Envision specialises in producing impactful visuals for various applications; events, retail, exhibitions, and vehicle graphics, with a focus on delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.
“The deal will help Paul (Harrison) and John expand on the company’s current offerings, and JNM’s Managing Director will remain as an employee in the company”, explained Helen.
